PREPOSITIONAL NOUN - PHRASE

Pada kesempatan kali ini kita akan belajar Bahasa Inggris mengenai apa itu PREPOSITIONAL NOUN-PHRASE. Seperti pada penjelasan pelajaran-pelajaran sebelumnya bahwa preposisi berfungsi untuk melengkapi noun. Preposisi sendiri bila didalam kalimat diletakkan sebelum kata benda. Jadi PREPOSITIONAL NOUN-PHRASE adalah sebuah group kata yang diawali dengan preposisi seperti : in, on, near, with, about, at, to, for, behind, in front of, above, dan lain-lain. Untuk pelajaran yang pertama kami berikan beberapa contoh mengenai PREPOSITIONAL NOUN-PHRASE. Kemudian untuk pelajaran yang kedua kami berikan beberapa contoh prepositional noun-phrase yang terdapat dalam kalimat. Segmen yang ketiga atau yang terakhir kami berikan latihan soal. Note : Kata-kata yang dicetak berwarna merah adalah preposisi [ preposition ], sedangkan kata-kata yang dicetak berwarna biru adalah kata benda [ noun ].

PREPOSITIONAL NOUN-PHRASE IN SENTENCES

Gina call her mother from her office everyday
They don't put that books on the table
She puts her skirt in the wardrobe
I don't see the clouds above the sky
They put the pictures on the wall
She doesn't live near the station bus
My mother cooks dinner in the kitchen
My parents don't stay in Jakarta
Eva does her homework on the writing desk
I put my shoes under the bed 

Note : Perhatikan prepositional noun-phrase yang terdapat dalam kalimat-kalimat diatas, sebuah preposisi selalu diawal/ didepan kata benda seperti ; her office, the wardrobe, the sky, the wall, the station bus, the kitchen, Jakarta, the writing desk, the bed.
